Global rocket launches reached an all-time high, driven largely by activity in the United States and China. In response to these evolving dynamics, SPACETIDE organized SPACETIDE 2022 to explore the new value being created by space business. Additionally, SPACETIDE launched AXELA, Japan’s first startup support program dedicated to the space sector.
2022 will be a crucial year for lunar exploration, with public and private missions
planned by various countries. It is expected that the success or failure of these
missions will turn the tide for new lunar exploration. The Moon's surface is a unique
environment from conventional outer space, and the exploration of the lunar
environment will present remarkable challenges for new systems and technologies.
For the private sector, there are several commercial reasons and rationales for
exploring the Moon, with a key one being that the Moon may potentially be
leveraged to help planet Earth and humankind. We invite you to learn about the
vision of these industry leaders who are progressing this initiative,
